DUBLIN, Ireland !

When thinking of a city with consistent richness in culture, brick buildings, trust for ancient originality, parliament houses, centralized transport system, well managed beautiful roads, lights, departmental stores, malls, metro-system, large estates,  green-fields, well-structured and organized city – am sure LONDON comes to mind.

Wait till you visit Republic of Ireland and you will have a rethink!

Dublin is the capital city of Republic of Ireland. It is not a UK Country. It is not same as Northern Ireland which is part of the UK.

Republic of Ireland is a small country in Europe with relatively beautiful castles and brick buildings. It is one of the wealthiest countries in the world in terms of GDP per Capita.

The city has so many ancient buildings and culture which they strictly adhere to. The streets are beautiful and are as structured as LONDON.

There are several tourist places to visit in Ireland but the first 3 listed below is topmost for me.

 St. Stephen’s Green – Dublin

This is the best place for Picnic. It is suitable for all age groups. Infants, Toddlers, Family, Lovers, Grannies, Friends, Colleagues etc. it is also a beautiful place for “destination weddings” it is surrounded by very stunning and beautiful maintained Green Fields and Gardens. It has Parks, a Lake with ducks that you can feed, it has beautiful flowers. It is just the best place to take your screen saver selfie! It is so serene and relaxing, soothing, peaceful and radiant that you can just spread out on the floor with your family and have a good time. Your infant or toddler can run around or crawl without you worrying of them being hurt. It is just the Perfect place for Family.

The Grafton Street Area

If you are in Ireland for a major shopping then Grafton Street is the Place. You would get budget prices for virtually anything and everything you would want to buy. From boutiques to Cafes, Flower shops to Eateries, beddings and duvet, all form of fashion items. It is just the place to be.

the 3rd place to visit is the Killarney National Park – it is 3rd for me because it is actually not in Dublin. It is on the Kerry region of Ireland so requires travelling from Dublin to Killarney but I don’t mind making this trip to soothe my adventure binges! It is WOW place to visit. It is home to the Ireland’s only native herd of red deer. It has woodlands suck as the Oak and Yew. It has lakes, other wildlifes. It has a Flora, Fauna, beautiful river and waterfalls not forgetting the “Old Weir Bridge”. It is just has various magnificent sights to behold.

Other places include:

The Trinity College

The      Trinity College is Ireland’s oldest University. It is on a 40-acre land and still retains its cobbled squares, pathways and parks and is home to collection of great treasures especially books and manuscripts.

5.            The National Gallery of Ireland – Here you will get the finest collections of Irish Art and Crafts.

6.           Kildare Street Museums and Houses of Parliament – the Government buildings.

7.            The Phoenix Park and Dublin Zoo – it is the largest enclosed urban Park in Europe! I call it the “deer home” because it has more than 100 Deers wandering about the Parkland.

8.       Christ Church Cathedral – A very ancient church founded in 1028 and made with Timber!

9.            Dublin Castle and the Chester Beatty Library

And lots more!!!
