Greece is a Southeast European Country with so
many Islands. Its capital is Athens! GREECE is the perfect place for
HONEYMOONERS. It has very beautiful resorts and beaches. Ever heard of
SANTORINI! Sounds Familiar isn’t it – it is located in Greece. I call it the
“Lovers Paradise".
Greece is one country in the Europe that I
think one should visit.
You know Greece is known for a whole lot of
things. They were a recognized top nation in Ancient times. In fact, they
conquered the ancient world and are still a top nation even now. They are
inventors. It is the birthplace of democracy, Western Philosophy, the Olympic
Games, Western literature, political science, major scientific and mathematical
principles and western drama. Greece is also a founding member of the United
Nations. It is a member of other numerous international institutions.
Ever heard of Alexander the Great! Yea! He is
Greek! They have a lot of historical and modern heritage and culture.
Greece is a very developed country with a blossoming economy and a high quality of life. They have a very high
standard of living. I love the sound of their names, be it for places or
people. It really sounds quirky. Greece is magnificent yet an
unusual tourist destination compared to the popular destinations.
If there is one country in the Europe that I really love, it
is GREECE!
They have a lot of beautiful landscapes,
beaches, and yes! OLIVES! They have a lot of lush forests and greenery gardens.
Greece is just beautiful.
Notable places to visit
are:
Athens – the largest city in Greece and its
Capital. Here you will find a lot of the nation’s ancient landmarks. It is a
busy city. The best place for shopping. Strolling through the streets and
taking in beautiful insights.
Santorini – home to islands, beaches and
resorts. Best place for lovers. It is best known for its cliff top towns of
Fira and Oia. Ever heard of BLACK SAND BEACH! You will them in Santorini. It is
some to volcanic black sand beaches. This Island is the perfect get-away for honeymooners
and lovers.
Zakynthos Island – am sure Santorini sounds familiar
but trust me this Island is another very stunning place to be in Greece. If you
love more adventure and something different from the usual then this is a great
Island to visit. It is home to the awesome blue caves.
Mykonos – the nightlife in this town is bahhhdddddd
and very groovy!
Samos – another wonderful Island with relatively
affordable resort and hotels. Remember the great mathematician Pythagoras, who
derived the Pythagoras theorem for triangles (A2 + B2 = C2)
is from Samoa!
Visit the Athens Acropolis Museum – the building
is so superb and splendid.
Rhodes Town – you will find beautiful very affordable
stuffs here. You can relate with the natives and it’s like a common-ground
town.
Samaria Gorge – a steep rocky place with
beautiful lush greens. A cozy place for a walk with your better half. It can be
a bit tedious though as it is has a mountainous kind of feel but it is fun.
Nafplio – the city for the wealthy! It is one
of the best islands in Greece. It is a car-free town and mostly frequented by
the wealthy Athenians. It has very luxurious buildings, mansions and churches. It
is a very splendid looking place.
Thessaloniki – this is also another large city
after Athens. It also has nice hotels and relaxation centres.
Mount Athos
Mystras
Lindos Acropolis
Delphi Theatre
Parthenon temple
The list goes on and on and on!
Talk about their cuisines, beverages, fashion,
education, lifestyle, transportation, architecture, roads. It is all quite
fascinating.
VISIT GREECE this summer! I can assure you - It
