FINLAND

I bet most of you who travel to Europe for vacation don’t ever think of Finland!

Finland is one of the best developed and economy stable country in the Europe! It is the 8th largest country in Europe and also the most sparsely populated.

It is one of the most suitable for immigrants who want to settle in the Europe! Its capital Helsinki is a beautiful city which almost looks like St. Petersburg, Russia. It is home to many ancient churches such as the Lutheran Cathedral, the Church in the Rock and the Uspenski Cathedral.

Beaches, Greenfields, Waterfalls, Hotels, Malls and Food are some of the things that satisfy us when we go on vacation but if you love in addition Arts and Artifacts, Museums, Ancient buildings, Historical places and strict culture principles then FINLAND is the place to be.

Finland also has one of the best architectural designs. If you want an international knowledge and training on architecture designs and interior décor then visit Finland.

There are several intriguing things to do in Finland….

The Aurora Borealis
This usually occurs between the end of summer and beginning of winter. It is a wonderful sight to behold. The light appears and lightens up the sky and it looks so magical. Seeing the Northern lights require darkness and clear sky. It is call northern lights because it is more prominent among the northern part of the country.

The National Museum
The National Museum in Finland is located in its capital Helsinki and it offers the history of Finland from the Stone-age to the Present-day, through objects and cultural history. Visit the museum to know all about Finland and other Antiquities

Midnight Sun
The full midnight sun is another magical experience to witness in Finland. It is best enjoyed between May and August which is Summer. The sun stays above the horizon for approximately almost 70 days. It illuminates the night and makes its environs a beautiful sight to behold.

Finnish Sauna
The word Sauna is actually Finnish so welcome to the Home of Sauna! Sauna is a major culture in Finland. More than half of its population of the nation owns a Sauna in their homes. They consider it a place for mental and physical relaxation for friends and family.  It is found everywhere in Finland – on the depth of a mine, on numerous lakes, in private apartments, office headquarters and even at the parliament house. The traditional sauna day is Saturday. You could take a Sauna on the Lake while in Finland.

Land of Clean lakes
One other prominent view in Finland is the clean lakes. They have more than a thousand very beautiful clean lakes that one can visit- you could have a swim or take selfies with its background especially at sunset. Visit Lakeland and you will be amazed at its awesomeness.

Wildlife nature
Finland’s wildlife nature is summarized into 2 – BEAR and FOX. They have various other wild animals in the wildlife Park and nature lands in Finland but the FOX comes first then the Bears. You get to see different species of Bears and also the FOX as it sways in its domain. Other animals such as reindeer also are in Finland

KEMI - Finland
For me the best place to visit in Finland is KEMI – yea! KEMI!

My best buddy is named KEMI too but NO it is not what you think! KEMI is a city in Lapland, Finland known for Snow castles.
This castle is built yearly and is a cozy venue for events such as weddings and parties. It has a bustling nightlife should you choose to stay in the snow hotels. You could also take an arctic icebreaker tour through the arctic waters and experience views of the magnificent icebergs.

Thinking of vacationing in Europe this Summer, think FINLAND!
