I promised giving you details of Scotland
pretty soon, well here it is!
Scotland as I said earlier is another country
that is part of the UK. Its capital city is Edinburgh. The most popular and
major cities in Scotland are Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Glasgow.
Scotland is also mountainous and has hilltop castles. Glasgow is a colourful city with vibrant cultural scenes. It is the
largest city in Scotland and the commercial hub of Scotland, Dundee has a middleclass settings. It
is a place convenient for every class and a good place for study while Edinburgh is home to parliament houses
and the United Kingdom Monarchy. It’s the second largest city in Scotland. Aberdeen is the third largest city in
Scotland and is titled the Europe oil capital. If you love whisky then welcome
to Scotland.
They have one of the finest made whisky’s in the world.
SCOTLAND is part of the UK and is one place you
should visit if you already possess a valid UK Visa. You could tour all of
these major cities because they have very good train network and have an
unusual but superb UK vacation experience.
Places you could visit in Scotland includes –
This castle is built on top a black Basalt
rock. It gives you stunning views of the city’s landmarks such as Royal Mile,
Princes Street and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Entrance to the castle is
through a drawbridge over an old moat from the broad Esplanade where the famous
Edinburgh Military Tattoo is held every August. It is a very beautiful sight to
behold.
The St. Andrews Golf Course
Scotland is one country that is very famous for
GOLF. They claim to be the main inventor of the game of Golf. This place hosts
the regular and renowned British Open at one of its many 18-hole courses. The Royal
and Ancient Golf Club was founded in 1750 and is recognized internationally as
golf’s ruling body.
This is a magnificent Island in Scotland and the
best place for nature lovers. It has very lovely sandy beaches, waterfalls,
caves and attractive glens, beautiful and romantic mountain scenery and green
valleys. It also has deep inlets and quaint villages. It is home to the remains
of the primeval oak forests as well as abundance of wildlife including otters,
seals and some 200 species of birds. Skye is connected to the Mainland via a
bridge while driving or you can go on ferries for a more fun.
Robbie Burns Country – The Burns Heritage Trail
This is one stop all tourists to Scotland
should make. It is a historical place that tells the heritage of the country’s
most famous son, poet Robbie Burns. From the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum to
the monument and gardens created to commemorate his life and time in Ayr, a
collection of his most important writing and the wonderful Robert Burns house
where the celebrated poet spent the last
four years of his life. This is a very good sight attraction and highly
informative.

Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum Glasgow – it
is a Grand building of art and natural history.
