Scotland as I said earlier is another country that is part of the UK. Its capital city is Edinburgh. The most popular and major cities in Scotland are Edinburgh, Dundee, Aberdeen and Glasgow. It is the largest city in Scotland and the commercial hub of Scotland, Dundee has a middleclass settings. It is a place convenient for every class and a good place for study while Edinburgh is home to parliament houses and the United Kingdom Monarchy. It’s the second largest city in Scotland. Aberdeen is the third largest city in Scotland and is titled the Europe oil capital. If you love whisky then welcome to Scotland.

They have one of the finest made whisky’s in the world.

SCOTLAND is part of the UK and is one place you should visit if you already possess a valid UK Visa. You could tour all of these major cities because they have very good train network and have an unusual but superb UK vacation experience.

Places you could visit in Scotland includes –

Edinburg Castle

This castle is built on top a black Basalt rock. It gives you stunning views of the city’s landmarks such as Royal Mile, Princes Street and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Entrance to the castle is through a drawbridge over an old moat from the broad Esplanade where the famous Edinburgh Military Tattoo is held every August. It is a very beautiful sight to behold.

The St. Andrews Golf Course

Scotland is one country that is very famous for GOLF. They claim to be the main inventor of the game of Golf. This place hosts the regular and renowned British Open at one of its many 18-hole courses. This is a magnificent Island in Scotland and the best place for nature lovers. It has very lovely sandy beaches, waterfalls, caves and attractive glens, beautiful and romantic mountain scenery and green valleys. It also has deep inlets and quaint villages. It is home to the remains of the primeval oak forests as well as abundance of wildlife including otters, seals and some 200 species of birds. Skye is connected to the Mainland via a bridge while driving or you can go on ferries for a more fun.

Robbie Burns Country – The Burns Heritage Trail

This is one stop all tourists to Scotland should make. It is a historical place that tells the heritage of the country’s most famous son, poet Robbie Burns. From the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum to the monument and gardens created to commemorate his life and time in Ayr, a collection of his most important writing and the wonderful Robert Burns house where the celebrated  poet spent the last four years of his life. This is a very good sight attraction and highly informative.
